Release Notes - Version 2026.06.0

What's new in SITE?

Release date: June 19, 2026

Version: 2026.06.0

This release introduces new scope item creation workflows directly from the Layers tab, along with a redesigned pricing override experience that gives users greater control over unit rates and measures in the scope grid.

Scope Item Creation from the Layers Tab

You can now create Scope Items directly from any existing Zone in the Layers tab — without leaving the map context. Right-clicking a Zone surfaces a new option to generate Scope Items that automatically inherit the Zone's geometry, giving you a faster and more spatially grounded starting point for your scope work.

Key improvements include:

  • Right-click any Zone in the Layers tab to initiate Scope Item creation

  • New Scope Items automatically inherit the Zone's geometry

  • Required metadata fields (Repair Type and Year) guide a structured process

  • A calculated cost baseline is established as part of the creation workflow

What this means for you:

  • Create scope items faster without switching between views

  • Ensure geometry consistency between Zones and Scope Items automatically

  • Establish cost baselines earlier and more reliably in the scoping workflow

  • Reduce manual data entry and the risk of geometry mismatches

Scopes & Repairs: Pricing Override Controls

The scope items grid now gives users direct control over unit pricing and measures, with clear visual feedback and easy reversion to catalog values.

Updates include:

  • Set a manual unit rate or measure directly in the scope grid

  • Overridden cells are visually indicated with a distinct highlight, so it's always clear when a value has been customized

  • Revert any override back to the catalog or geometry-derived value via a confirmation dialog

  • Measure derivation is now geometry-aware: linear feet for line geometries, square feet for polygon geometries

What this means for you:

  • Adjust pricing inline without leaving the scope grid

  • Quickly identify which values have been manually overridden

  • Confidently revert to catalog values when needed

  • Trust that geometry-derived measures reflect the correct unit for each item type
